Manual Placements

By the AdFlint research team · Last reviewed July 2026

Selecting exactly which Meta surfaces an ad set may run on, switching off everything you have not explicitly chosen.

You pick placements individually - feeds, Stories, Reels, Audience Network, and the rest - which is the only way to guarantee an ad never appears somewhere. The trade-off people underestimate is that every exclusion narrows delivery, so cost per result usually rises even when the reporting looks tidier.
