Shopping Ads
By the AdFlint research team · Last reviewed July 2026
Product listings showing image, price, and merchant name, served from a Merchant Center feed on Google Search and the Shopping tab.
The feed supplies the data and Google matches products to queries without keywords; you influence matching through titles, attributes, and negatives, while bidding happens in Standard Shopping or Performance Max. Retailers use them as core demand capture. The mistake is neglecting feed hygiene, because title wording, image quality, and price competitiveness do the work keywords and ad copy do in Search.
