What one run gives you

  • The search phrase your customer would most likely type into Google, picked from your site.
  • A Google search ad: 3 headlines of up to 30 characters and 2 descriptions of up to 90. That is the minimum set Google accepts for a responsive search ad; a full one can hold up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions (Google Ads Help).
  • A Facebook and Instagram ad: primary text of up to 125 characters and a headline of up to 40, the lengths Meta recommends (Meta Ads Guide).
  • A picture for the social ad: your site's own share image, or a screenshot of your page, or a poster in your brand color when neither is available.
  • One sentence on the angle it chose and a score out of 10 from a separate grader.

How it writes the ad

When you paste a URL, the generator reads up to 3,500 characters of that page, along with its share image and theme color, and gives up after 5 seconds if the site is slow. A writer model drafts the ad from that text. A second model then grades the draft from 1 to 10 against four tests: a specific hook rather than a category claim, at least one concrete detail, no filler words, and every factual claim supported by your site. Any invented offer, price, number or guarantee caps the score at 5.

If the draft scores under 9, the writer gets the grader's critique and rewrites it once, and you see the better of the two drafts. The whole loop stops after about 32 seconds. If the AI is unavailable you get a plain template version of the ad instead of an error, so there is always something to work from.

This is the same generator that runs on the AdFlint home page; this page just gives it room.

Real output, unedited

Two runs from 2026-10-05 for made-up businesses, copied exactly as the generator returned them. A line ending in … ran past Google's or Meta's limit and was cut, which is the first thing to fix before launching. The input with more concrete detail scored higher, 7.2 against 6.2; pasting a real website usually gives the writer even more to work with.

Made-up business 1: an HVAC company

Input: “Family-run HVAC repair in Phoenix. Same-day AC repair, upfront flat-rate pricing.”

Two concrete details in the input (same-day, flat-rate) gave the writer something specific to lead with.

Made-up business 2: a mobile dog groomer

Input: “Mobile dog grooming van in Austin, TX. We come to your driveway.”

Get a better ad in four steps

  1. Paste the page for the exact product or service you want to sell, not your home page. The writer can only use what that page says.
  2. Check that the page states something concrete: a price, an offer, a location or a result you can prove. The grader rewards specifics only when the page backs them up.
  3. Rewrite every line that ends in …, then paste your final copy into the Google ad preview to confirm each headline is 30 characters or fewer.
  4. Run it two or three times and keep the strongest lines from each. Each run writes a fresh draft, and Google rotates the headlines you give it to find the best mix (see ad strength).

When this is the wrong tool

If you only need a polished image to post yourself, Canva's or Sivi's free plans give you far more design control than this generator does. It writes one ad per run, makes no video, and has no editor.

And no generator, ours included, can tell you which ad will work. A high grader score means the copy is specific and true to your site. It does not mean people will click. Only running two versions side by side answers that.

From draft to a live ad

Click Launch this under your ad and the draft carries into AdFlint signup, so your campaign starts from the copy you just saw. AdFlint then builds the campaign inside your own Google Ads and Meta accounts, and nothing goes live until you approve it. When your trial starts, AdFlint also renders two cinematic image ads for your business while you finish setting up; the example ads page shows what the designed ads look like.

Questions

Is this AI ad generator really free?

Yes. You don't need an account or a card to generate an ad. A daily limit per visitor keeps the free demo running for everyone. You only pay if you start an AdFlint plan to run the ads.

Can AI write Google Ads headlines that fit the limits?

It writes to Google's limits: up to 30 characters per headline and 90 per description. When the model runs over, the line is cut and ends in an ellipsis, so rewrite any line that ends in … before you launch it. The demo writes 3 headlines and 2 descriptions, the minimum Google accepts for a responsive search ad.

What image does it use for the Facebook and Instagram ad?

Your website's own share image when it has one. If it doesn't, or the site blocks automated visits, the preview uses a screenshot of your page or a simple poster in your brand color.

Can I edit and use the ads anywhere?

Yes. Copy the text into Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager yourself, or click Launch this to carry the draft into AdFlint, where you can edit every line before anything goes live.

Will an AI-generated ad perform well?

Nobody can promise that, including us. The grader score tells you whether the copy is specific and supported by your site, not whether people will click. The only reliable answer comes from running two or more versions and keeping the one that wins.

Why did my ad get a low score?

Usually because the generator had little to work with. A one-line description gives the grader nothing to verify specifics against, so it scores lower. Paste the exact page for the product or service you want to advertise and make sure that page states your offer, price or location.
