Remarketing

By the AdFlint research team · Last reviewed July 2026

Google's term for advertising to people who previously visited your site, used your app, or engaged with your content, and sometimes stretched to cover lifecycle email.

Inside Google Ads it names the whole family of visitor-based tactics: remarketing lists, RLSA on Search, dynamic remarketing against Shopping inventory. Assuming the two words denote different techniques produces confused briefs and duplicated audiences.
