Does interest targeting still work now that Advantage+ Audience treats it as a suggestion?
It still influences early delivery, since Meta gives a real priority window to whatever you enter before expanding past it. What changed is that it no longer fences the audience the way it did years ago, so its main value now is as a head start rather than a permanent limit.
Why does broad targeting outperform my interest stack after a few months?
Once an account has enough conversion volume, the optimization event carries more useful signal than an inferred interest, because it is based on what people actually did rather than what they merely engage with. How many interests should I stack in one ad set?
Fewer than you think.
