Paid Partnership Ads

Also called whitelisted ads

By the AdFlint research team · Last reviewed July 2026

Runs an ad from a creator's or partner's own handle with paid partnership disclosure, using their account identity instead of your brand page.

The creator grants your ad account permission to their content or handle, and the ad appears with the partnership label, keeping their followers, credibility, and comment history attached. Advertisers still call these whitelisted or allowlisted ads. Use them when the endorsement itself is the message. The mistake is skipping the permissions setup, or scaling spend on a partner's post until the comment section turns hostile.
