Manager Account (MCC)
By the AdFlint research team · Last reviewed July 2026
An umbrella Google Ads account that links multiple client accounts under one login for centralized access, billing, and cross-account reporting.
Agencies and multi-brand advertisers use a manager account to switch between clients without separate logins, apply shared budgets or bid strategies, and pull consolidated reports. Access is granted by link request, which the client approves. The important boundary is ownership: linking a manager account does not transfer the client's account, and a client should always own their own account so a relationship ending does not cost them their history.
